New for Non UK Deliveries

We have felt it necessary to change our courier for non UK deliveries to unacceptable levels of poor service. Our new courier insists on phone numbers for non-UK deliveries. We are sorry for any inconvenience but it will always helps in case of difficulties just as it does in the UK.


Whilst we try to deliver in accordance with our promises, the actual delivery is out of our control, and at the moment delivery times are substantially affected by the Coronavirus epidemic.

Where we deliver to

We offer a delivery service to all of the UK and some of Europe. The courier companies we use have some of the best reputations  for delivering liquids safely . The delivery dates quoted in our system are from the time we despatch your order and in a lot of circumstances that can be the same day as we receive it. During December we work 7 days but during the rest of the year we do not open Sunday or Monday. None of our couriers also operate on a Sunday.

For European deliveries not on our list or if the delivery option you require is not listed, please contact us to check if we can arrange and what the costs would be.

Charges per delivery

Charges vary depending upon where in the UK (or Europe) the order is going. For the most part charges are quoted to England, Wales and Lowland Scotland (before 16:00) with additional options available for “Before 12:00” and “Saturday” deliveries. When you type in the post code the options and charges for that postcode are listed. In some remote areas of the Scottish Highlands and Islands there is only a 2-5 day service.

Delivery times

  • We aim to despatch within 3 days of confirming the order. Mainland UK are booked on a “Next Day” service.
  • Scottish Highlands may take an additional day or two.
  • On the confirmation of your order we will advise the expected day of delivery.
  • Deliveries are made between 7am & 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
  • If you require delivery on a specific day/date, please advise in the ‘Additional Notes’ on the order page.

Delivery instructions

The delivery company will not leave the order without a signature, therefore on the delivery address, please try your upmost to provide an address where somebody is able to sign for the order. If you are happy that the order can be left safely, for example in a porch, please put this information in the delivery instructions.

If there is nobody to accept the order, the delivery company will leave a calling card and leave the order at their local depot. On the card will be the contact number for the depot. Please phone them to arrange collection or a more convenient time for delivery. If after 3 days the courier has not had a response to the card the order will be returned to us as undelivered, and it will incur an additional delivery charge to re-send.

How you can help

There is space provided for you to enter a phone number for the recipient. We will only use this number in case of difficulties with the delivery but it can often save a lot of time and effort, particularly with a London address, if we can pass this information on to the courier. Please enter the phone number if at all possible.

Nowadays our courier will send a text giving a more accurate window for delivery. But of course they can only do this if there is a valid mobile number entered.
